جماع أَبْوَابِ صَلَاةِ التَّطَوُّعِ قَبْلَ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْمَكْتُوبَاتِ وَبَعْدَهُنَّ
Chapters on Voluntary Prayers before and after Obligatory Prayers
(528) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا اسْتَحَبَّ الصَّلَاةَ فِي الْبَيْتِ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ خَلَا الْمَكْتُوبَةِ
The chapter on the evidence that the Prophet preferred praying at home over the mosque except for obligatory prayers
Hadith Number: Q1203
إذ الصلاة في البيت افضل من الصلاة في المسجد إلا المكتوبة منها
Because, apart from the obligatory prayers, praying at home is better than praying in the mosque.

Hadith Number: 1203
نا محمد بن بشار ، نا محمد بن جعفر ، نا عبد الله بن سعيد بن ابي هند ، ح وحدثنا سلم بن جنادة ، حدثنا وكيع ، عن عبد الله بن سعيد بن ابي هند ، عن سالم ابي النضر ، عن بسر بن سعيد ، عن زيد بن ثابت ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " خير صلاة المرء في بيته إلا المكتوبة" . وقال بندار:" افضل صلاتكم في بيوتكم إلا المكتوبة"
Sayyiduna Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "The best prayer of a person is in his house, except for the obligatory prayer." And these are the words of Janab Bundar: "Your most excellent prayer is in your homes, except for the obligatory prayer."

Hadith Number: 1204
حدثنا محمد بن معمر القيسي ، حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا وهيب ، نا موسى بن عقبة ، قال: سمعت سالما ابا النضر يحدث، عن بسر بن سعيد، عن زيد بن ثابت : ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " فصلوا ايها الناس في بيوتكم، فإن افضل صلاة المرء في بيته إلا المكتوبة"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O people, perform prayers in your homes, for indeed the best prayer of a person is in his house except for the obligatory prayer (which is better in the mosque)."
