(189) بَابُ الْجَمْعِ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي الْجَمَاعَةِ فِي السَّفَرِ.
189| Chapter on combining two prayers in congregation during travel
Hadith Number: 1704
نا يونس بن عبد الاعلى ، اخبرنا ابن وهب ، ان مالكا حدثه، عن ابي الزبير المكي ، عن ابي الطفيل عامر بن واثلة ، عن معاذ بن جبل ، اخبره انهم، خرجوا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عام تبوك، فكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم" يجمع بين الظهر والعصر، والمغرب والعشاء"، قال:" فاخر الصلاة يوما، ثم خرج فصلى الظهر والعصر جميعا، ثم دخل، ثم خرج فصلى المغرب والعشاء جميعا" . فذكر الحديث
Sayyiduna Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the year of the Battle of Tabuk, so (during the journey) the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would combine the Zuhr and Asr prayers, and the Maghrib and Isha prayers. He says that one day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delayed the prayer, then he came out of the tent and combined the Zuhr and Asr prayers. Then he went inside, then he came out and combined the Maghrib and Isha prayers. Then he narrated the complete hadith.
