153 Subchapter: Parable the Prophet gave for the giver of charity
Hadith Number: Q2457
And the statement about the devils frightening him with poverty and preventing him from giving charity. If this narration is authentic. Because I do not know whether Imam A‘mash heard from Ibn Buraidah or not? Allah Almighty says: «الشَّيْطَانُ يَعِدُكُمُ الْفَقْرَ وَيَأْمُرُكُم بِالْفَحْشَاءِ ۖ» [ سورة البقرة: 268 ] "Satan threatens you with poverty and commands you to indecency."

Ibn Buraidah narrates from his noble father Sayyiduna Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A person cannot give charity from anything until he frees it from the jaws of seventy devils."
