جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ صَدَقَةِ التَّطَوُّعِ
Chapters on Voluntary Charity
(163) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ أَمْرَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِوَضْعِ الْقِنْوِ الَّذِي ذَكَرْنَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لِلْمَسَاكِينِ أَمَرُ نَدْبٍ وَإِرْشَادٍ، لَا أَمْرُ فَرِيضَةٍ وَإِيجَابٍ، خَبَرُ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِنْ هَذَا الْبَابِ
163 Subchapter: Prophet’s command to place fruit in the mosque for the poor was guidance, not obligation
Hadith Number: 2470
حدثنا يونس بن عبد الاعلى ، اخبرنا ابن وهب ، عن ابن جريج ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إذا اديت زكاة مالك، فقد اذهبت عنك شره"
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "When you have paid the zakat of your wealth, then you have removed the evil and calamity of that wealth from yourself."

حدثنا علي بن خشرم ، اخبرنا عبد الله بن وهب ، عن عمرو بن الحارث ، عن دراج ابي السمح ، عن ابن حجيرة الخولاني ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إذا اديت زكاة مالك، فقد قضيت ما عليك، ومن جمع مالا حراما، ثم تصدق به لم يكن له فيه اجر، وكان اجره عليه" . حدثنا عيسى بن إبراهيم ، حدثنا ابن وهب ، حدثني دراج ابو السمح ، وقال: إذا اديت زكاة مالك
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When you have paid the zakat of your wealth, then you have fulfilled your responsibility and obligation. And whoever gathers unlawful wealth and then gives it in charity, he will receive no reward for that charity, and its sin will remain upon him."
