(163) باب ذكر الدليل على أن أمر النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم بوضع القنو الذى ذكرنا فى المسجد للمساكين أمر ندب وإرشاد، لا أمر فريضة وإيجاب، خبر طلحة بن عبد الله من هذا الباب
163 Subchapter: Prophet’s command to place fruit in the mosque for the poor was guidance, not obligation
Hadith Number: 2470
حدثنا يونس بن عبد الاعلى ، اخبرنا ابن وهب ، عن ابن جريج ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إذا اديت زكاة مالك، فقد اذهبت عنك شره"
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "When you have paid the zakat of your wealth, then you have removed the evil and calamity of that wealth from yourself."
