(22) بَابُ ذِكْرِ خُرُوجِ الْمَرْأَةِ لِأَدَاءِ فَرْضِ الْحَجِّ بِغَيْرِ مَحْرَمٍ، وَأَمْرِ الْحَاكِمِ زَوْجَهَا بِاللِّحَاقِ بِهَا لِلْحَجِّ بِهَا
22 Subchapter: Woman going for obligatory Hajj without a mahram, and the ruler ordering her husband to accompany her
Hadith Number: 2529
حدثنا ابو عمار الحسين بن حريث ، حدثنا سفيان ، عن عمرو وهو ابن دينار ، عن ابي معبد ، عن ابن عباس ، قال: سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يخطب: " الا لا يخلون رجل بامراة إلا ومعها ذو محرم"، فقام رجل، فقال: يا رسول الله، إني اكتتبت في غزوة كذا وكذا، وانطلقت امراتي حاجة، قال:" انطلق فحج مع امراتك"
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) delivering a sermon: "Beware! No man should ever be alone with a woman except in the presence of her mahram." Then a man stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), indeed my name has been registered for such-and-such battle, while my wife has set out for Hajj." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go and perform Hajj with your wife."

حدثنا عبد الجبار ، حدثنا سفيان ، عن عمرو ، قال: سمعت ابا معبد ، يقول: سمعت ابن عباس ، يقول: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو على المنبر يخطب، يقول: فذكر الحديث نحوه، وقال: " فاذهب فحج بامراتك"
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying while he was delivering a sermon on the pulpit, then he narrated the rest of the hadith. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go and perform Hajj with your wife."
