Hazrat Qasim narrates that I was with Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) when a man came and said that he was going on a journey. Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Wait a little so that I may bid you farewell in the same way that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to bid us farewell with this supplication «‏‏‏‏أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللَّهَ دِينَكَ وَأَمَانَتَكَ وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِكَ» ‏‏‏‏: 'I entrust your religion, your trustworthiness, and the end of your deeds to Allah.'"
