Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
جماع أَبْوَابِ ذِكْرِ أَفْعَالٍ اخْتَلَفَ النَّاسُ فِي إِبَاحَتِهِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ، نَصَّتْ سُنَّةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ دَلَّتْ عَلَى إِبَاحَتِهَا
Chapters on Acts Permitted for the Pilgrim by Sunnah
(180) بَابُ فَضْلِ اسْتِلَامِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ وَذِكْرِ حَطِّ الْخَطَايَا بِمَسْحِهَا
Chapter: Virtue of touching the two corners and erasing sins by wiping them
Hadith Number: 2729
حدثنا يعقوب الدورقي ، حدثنا هشيم ، اخبرنا عطاء بن السائب ، عن عبد الله بن عبيد بن عمير ، انه سمع اباه ، يقول لابن عمر: ما لي لا اراك تستلم إلا هذين الركنين الحجر الاسود، والركن اليماني، فقال ابن عمر: إن افعل فقد سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول:" إن مسحهما يحط الخطايا" .
It is narrated from Ubaid bin Umair that he asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), "What is the reason that I see you only touching the Hajar Aswad and the Yemeni Corner?" So Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) replied, "If I only touch these two corners, (the reason is that) I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say, 'Touching these two corners is a cause for the forgiveness of sins.'"

حدثناه يوسف بن موسى ، حدثنا جرير . ح وحدثنا علي بن المنذر ، حدثنا ابن فضيل . ح وحدثنا الحسن بن الزعفراني ، حدثنا عبيد الله بن عبيد بن عمير ، عن ابيه ، عن ابن عمر ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بمثله.
A narration similar to the above-mentioned hadith is reported from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both).
