جماع أَبْوَابِ ذِكْرِ أَفْعَالٍ اخْتَلَفَ النَّاسُ فِي إِبَاحَتِهِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ، نَصَّتْ سُنَّةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ دَلَّتْ عَلَى إِبَاحَتِهَا

Chapter: Time of departure from Mecca to Mina on the Day of Tarwiyah
Hadith Number: 2796
حدثنا ابو موسى محمد بن المثنى ، حدثنا إسحاق الازرق ، حدثنا سفيان الثوري ، عن عبد العزيز بن رفيع ، قال: سالت انس بن مالك ، فقلت: اخبرني بشيء عقلته عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، اين صلى الظهر يوم التروية؟ قال:" بمنى"، قلت: فاين صلى العصر يوم النفر؟ قال:" بالابطح"، ثم قال:" افعل كما فعل امراؤك"
Hazrat Abdul Aziz bin Rafi' narrates that I asked Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) and said to him: Tell me something that you understood from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Where did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offer the Zuhr prayer on the Day of Tarwiyah? He replied: In Mina. I asked: Where did he offer the Asr prayer on the day of departure? He said: In Abtah. Then he said: Do as your rulers do. (Wherever they pray, you should pray there as well.)

حدثنا يعقوب بن إبراهيم ، واحمد بن منيع ، ومحمد بن هشام ، قالوا: حدثنا ابو بكر بن عياش ، حدثنا عبد العزيز بن رفيع ، قال: لقيت انس بن مالك على حمار متوجها إلى منى يوم التروية، فقلت له: اين صلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم هذا اليوم الظهر؟ قال:" صلى حيث يصلي امراؤك" ، وقال ابن هشام: عن عبد العزيز بن رفيع
Hazrat Abdul Aziz bin Rafi’ narrates that I met Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik while he was riding a donkey and heading towards Mina. I asked him,“Where did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) offer the Zuhr prayer on this day (8th of Dhul-Hijjah)?”He replied,“You should pray where your rulers pray.”
