جماع أَبْوَابِ ذِكْرِ أَفْعَالٍ اخْتَلَفَ النَّاسُ فِي إِبَاحَتِهِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ، نَصَّتْ سُنَّةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ دَلَّتْ عَلَى إِبَاحَتِهَا

(251) بَابٌ فِي فَضْلِ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ وَمَا يُرْجَى فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ مِنَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ.
Chapter: Virtue of the Day of ‘Arafah and hope for forgiveness on that day
Hadith Number: 2827
حدثنا عيسى بن إبراهيم الغافقي ، حدثنا ابن وهب ، اخبرني مخرمة . ح حدثنا إبراهيم بن منقد ، حدثنا ابن وهب ، عن مخرمة بن بكير ، عن ابيه ، قال: سمعت يونس بن يوسف ، عن ابن المسيب ، عن عائشة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " ما من يوم اكثر ان يعتق الله فيه عبدا من النار من يوم عرفة، وانه ليدنو، ثم يباهي الملائكة، ويقول: ما اراد هؤلاء؟"
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no day on which Allah frees more servants from the Fire than the Day of Arafah. On that day, Allah draws near and then boasts to the angels about His servants (because of these pilgrims), and He asks the angels: 'What do these people want?'"
