Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) departed from Arafat and seated Sayyiduna Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) behind him (on his mount). Then, when he reached the pass, he dismounted and urinated. And these words were not said that he relieved himself with water. Sayyiduna Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I poured water for him from a vessel, so he performed a light ablution. I said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), do you intend to pray?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "We will pray ahead." Then he came to Muzdalifah and performed the Maghrib prayer, then he unloaded the saddle and such from his mount and untied it, then performed the Isha prayer. Imam Sufyan says that Ibrahim's narration ends at these words: "We will pray ahead." The remaining addition is from the narration of Ibn Abi Harmalah.
