٢١٨٩٥ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن الشيباني عن الشعبي عن شريح قال: إذا اقيم على الرجل (الحد) (١) في القذف لم تقبل (شهادته) (٢) ابدا، وتوبته فيما بينه وبين الله.

Hazrat Shurayh says that when the punishment of qazf is carried out on a person, his testimony will not be accepted, and his repentance is a matter between Allah and him.

٢١٨٩٦ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن إسماعيل بن ابي خالد عن ابي الضحى عن شريح قال: لا تجوز شهادة القاذف، وتوبته فيما بينه وبين الله.
Hazrat Shurayh says that when the punishment of qazf is carried out on a person, his testimony will not be accepted, and his repentance is a matter between Allah and him.

٢١٨٩٧ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن ابي الهيثم قال: سمعت إبراهيم والشعبي يتذاكران ذلك فقال إبراهيم: لا تجوز، فقال الشعبي: لم؟ فقال إبراهيم: (لانك) (١) لا تدري تاب او لم يتب.

Hazrat Abu Haitham narrates that Ibrahim and Hazrat Sha’bi were discussing the testimony of one who accuses falsely. Ibrahim said that his testimony will not be accepted. Hazrat Sha’bi asked the reason for this, so Ibrahim replied that you do not know whether he has repented or not.

٢١٨٩٨ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الاعلى عن يونس عن الحسن انه كان يقول في القاذف: توبته فيما بينه وبين الله، ولا (تجوز) (١) شهادته.

Hasan says that when the punishment of qazf is carried out on a person, his testimony will not be accepted, and his repentance is a matter between Allah and him.

٢١٨٩٩ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابو داود الطيالسي عن حماد بن سلمة عن قتادة عن الحسن وسعيد بن المسيب قالا: لا شهادة له، وتوبته فيما بينه وبين الله.
Hasan and Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib state that when the punishment of qazf is carried out on a person, his testimony will not be accepted, and his repentance is a matter between him and Allah.

٢١٩٠٠ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن حجاج عن عمرو بن شعيب عن ابيه عن جده قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"المسلمون عدول بعضهم على بعض إلا محدودا في فرية" (١).

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All Muslims are just (‘adool) (i.e., their testimony will be accepted for one another) except those upon whom a prescribed punishment (hadd) has been carried out for a crime."

Ibrahim says that when the punishment of qazf is carried out on a person, his testimony will not be accepted, and his repentance is a matter between him and Allah.
