٢١٩٥٨ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن الاوزاعي عن الزهري قال: مضت السنة ان تجوز شهادة النساء فيما لا يطلع عليه غيرهن من ولادات النساء (و) (١) عيوبهن، وتجوز شهادة القابلة وحدها في الاستهلال، وامراتان فيما سوى ذلك (٢).

(١) سقط من: [أ، ح، ط].
(٢) مرسل؛ الزهري تابعي، ومراسيل الزهري ضعيفة جدًا، وأخرجه عبد الرزاق (١٥٤٢٧).
Hazrat Zuhri says that in matters where men cannot be informed, the testimony of women is valid, such as childbirth among women and women's defects, etc. Regarding whether a newborn baby has breathed, only the testimony of the midwife and two other women with her will be valid.

٢١٩٥٩ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابو بكر بن عياش عن مطرف عن الشعبي فيما لا تجوز فيه شهادات الرجال: اربع (نسوة) (١).

Hazrat Sha'bi says that in matters where the testimony of men is not valid, the testimony of two women is sufficient.

Hazrat Ata says that the testimony of women regarding the breathing of a newborn child is valid.

٢١٩٦٢ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن ابي زائدة عن إسماعيل عن عامر قال: من الشهادات (شهادات) (١) لا يجوز فيها إلا شهادات النساء.

Hazrat Aamir says that there are some testimonies in which only the testimony of women can be accepted.

٢١٩٦٣ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن حماد عن إبراهيم.
Ibrahim, Hasan, and Hazrat Sha'bi state that in matters about which men cannot be informed, the testimony of just one woman is also sufficient.

21965 - From Ash'ath, from al-Sha'bi: (They said): The testimony of one woman is accepted in matters which men do not observe.

٢١٩٦٦ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن ابن جريج عن عطاء قال: لا يجوز اقل من شهادة اربع نسوة فيما لا (يجوز) (١) فيه شهادة الرجال.

Hazrat Ata says that in matters where the testimony of men is not valid, the testimony of fewer than four women is not acceptable.
