Hazrat Muhammad bin Zaid says that I bought a slave girl from the khums. I found fifteen dinars with that slave girl. I took them to Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Khalid bin Waleed, and he said that they belong to you.

Hazrat Sha'bi says that if a person buys a slave girl from the spoils of war and then finds silver with her, he should return it.

Hazrat Husain narrates that a man bought a slave girl from the spoils of war in the Battle of Qadisiyyah. The slave girl had some jewelry on her. That man went to Hazrat Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) and informed him about this. He said that the jewelry should be deposited into the Muslims’ spoils of war.
