A Person Steals and Sells a Slave

٢٤٥٨٨ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن ابي عدي عن اشعث عن الحسن في رجل سرق عبدا فباعه (من آخر) (١) فمات في يد المشتري، قال: (ذهبت) (٢) دراهم المشتري، ويتبع صاحب العبد السارق.

Hasan says regarding the person who steals a slave and sells him forward, then the slave dies while in the possession of the buyer, the buyer's dirhams will be lost and the owner of the slave will recover the price of the slave from the thief.
