On Silver Rings

٢٦٧٥٨ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن عيينة عن ايوب بن موسى عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: اتخذ النبي ﷺ خاتما من ورق (١).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) صحيح؛ أخرجه البخاري (٥٨٦٥)، ومسلم (٢٠٩١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). He says that the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had a ring made of silver.

٢٦٧٥٩ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا (١) ابن مهدي عن سفيان عن حبيب عن طاوس قال: كان (لرسول) (٢) الله ﷺ (خاتم) (٣) (من) (٤) فضة في يده، فقال النبي ﷺ:"لكم نظرة، ولهذا نظرة، لقد عناني هذا اليوم فنزعه، فاعطاه رجلا" (٥).

(١) في [ز]: زيادة (إبراهيم).
(٢) في [هـ]: (رسول).
(٣) في [جـ]: (خاتما).
(٤) سقط من: [ز].
(٥) مرسل، أخرجه ابن سعد (١/ ٤٧٠)، ومسدد كما في المطالب العالية (٢٢٧٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Tawoos. He says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had a silver ring which was in his hand. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You also have an evil eye, and there is also defect and harm in it. Indeed, today it has put me in difficulty." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took it off, and then he gave it to a man.

٢٦٧٦٠ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا (عثمان بن) (١) عمر عن يونس عن الزهري عن انس قال: كان (في) (٢) خاتم رسول الله ﷺ فضة وكان فصه حبشيا (٣).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) سقط من النسخ غير [هـ]، ونبه عليه في حاشية [جـ]، ويدل عليه مصادر التخريج.
(٢) سقط من: [جـ، ط].
(٣) صحيح؛ أخرجه مسلم (٢٠٩٤)، وأحمد (١٣١٨٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas. He says that the ring of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was made of silver, and its stone was Abyssinian.

٢٦٧٦١ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن نمير (عن عبيد الله) (١) عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: اتخذ رسول الله ﷺ خاتما من ورق فكان في يده، ثم (كان) (٢) في يد ابي ⦗٦٤⦘ بكر من بعده، ثم (كان) (٣) في يد عمر، ثم كان في يد عثمان حتى وقع منه في بئر (اريس) (٤)، وكان نقشه محمد رسول الله (٥) (٦).

(٦) صحيح؛ أخرجه البخاري (٥٨٧٣)، ومسلم (٢٠٩١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). He says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had a ring made of silver. So it remained in the hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Then after him, it was in the hand of Hazrat Abu Bakr, then it remained in the hand of Hazrat Umar. Then it remained in the hand of Hazrat Uthman, until it fell from him into the well of Aris. And its inscription was "Muhammad, Messenger of Allah".
