٢٩٢٣٧ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن محمد بن إسحاق عن ابان بن صالح عن مجاهد عن ابن مسعود قال: كان يقول: دية اهل الكتاب مثل دية المسلم (١).

(١) منقطع حكمًا؛ ابن إسحاق مدلس.
Hazrat Mujahid states that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood used to say: The blood money (diyah) of the People of the Book is like the blood money of a Muslim.

٢٩٢٣٨ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن علي بن ابي طلحة عن القاسم بن عبد الرحمن قال: قال عبد الله: من كان له (عهد) (١) او ذمة فديته دية الحر المسلم (٢).

(٢) منقطع؛ القاسم بن عبد الرحمن لم يدرك ابن مسعود.
Hazrat Qasim bin Abdur Rahman narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas’ud said: Whoever has a treaty or is a Dhimmi, his blood money is equal to that of a free Muslim. Hazrat Sufyan says: After that, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I also know the same thing.

Hazrat Qasim bin Abdur Rahman narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood said: The blood money (diyah) of an ally or a dhimmi is equal to the blood money of a free Muslim.

Ibrahim states that Alqamah said: The blood money of an ally is like the blood money of a Muslim.

٢٩٢٤٢ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم عن ابن ابي نجيح عن مجاهد وعطاء قالا: دية المعاهد مثل دية المسلم.
Hazrat Ibn Abi Najih states that Hazrat Mujahid and Hazrat Ata, both of these personalities, said: The blood money (diyah) of an ally (halif) is like the blood money of a Muslim.

Hazrat Hakam and Hazrat Hammad both state that Ibrahim said: The diyah (blood money) of a Jew, Christian, Magian, and an ally with whom a pact has been made is like that of a Muslim, and the diyah of their women is half that of their men. And Hazrat 'Amir Sha'bi used to recite this verse: Translation: And if the slain person is from a people between whom and you there is a treaty, then blood money should be paid to his heirs.

٢٩٢٤٤ - (و) (١) عن الحكم (وحماد) (٢) عن إبراهيم قالا: دية اليهودي والنصراني والمجوسي والمعاهد مثل دية المسلم، ونساؤهم على النصف من دية الرجال، وكلان عامر يتلو هذه الآية: ﴿وإن كان من قوم بينكم وبينهم ميثاق فدية مسلمة إلى اهله﴾ [النساء: ٩٢].

29244 - (W) (1) From al-Hakam (and Hammad) (2) from Ibrahim, they said: The blood money (diyah) of the Jew, the Christian, the Magian, and the one under covenant is like the blood money of the Muslim, and their women are half the blood money of the men. And Kilan ‘Amir would recite this verse:“And if he was from a people between you and them is a treaty, then a blood money must be delivered to his family” [النساء: ٩٢] .

٢٩٢٤٥ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم عن ايوب عن الزهري قال: سمعته يقول: دية المعاهد دية المسلم وتلا هذه الآية: ﴿وإن كان من قوم بينكم وبينهم ميثاق (فدية مسلمة إلى اهله) (١)﴾.

Ayyub narrates that I heard Imam Zuhri saying: The blood money of an ally is like the blood money of a Muslim, and if the slain person is from a people with whom you have a treaty. Until the end of the verse.

٢٩٢٤٦ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن منصور عن إبراهيم قال: دية اهل العهد من المشركين مثل دية المسلمين.
Hazrat Mansur narrates that Ibrahim said: The blood money (diyah) of those polytheists who are under a treaty is equal to the blood money of Muslims.
