Hazrat Nafi' narrates that a leader of a turmoil asked Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) about such an umm walad who had been accused. So he gave the ruling regarding the accuser that he should be given eighty lashes.

Hazrat Nafi' states that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The one who accuses his umm walad (a slave woman who has borne her master's child) will be flogged.

Hazrat Yahya bin Saeed narrates that Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib said: The son of a woman of clear and evident character and the son of an umm walad abused each other. Then the son of the woman of clear character abused the son of the umm walad, so he was flogged for it.

Hazrat Abu Yazid Madani narrates that Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz flogged a man who had accused another man's umm walad, who had not been set free, of immorality.

Hazrat Saeed narrates that Hazrat Adi wrote a letter to Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz, so he replied in writing that you should administer the prescribed punishment of lashes to him.
