The Punishment for Sodomy Is Like That for Zina

٣٠٢٢٨ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا معن بن عيسى عن ابن ابي ذئب عن الزهري قال: يرجم اللوطي إذا كان محصنا، وإن كان بكرا جلد مائة.
Hazrat Ibn Abi Dhi'b states that Hazrat Zuhri said: A sodomite will be stoned if he is married, and if he is unmarried, he will be given one hundred lashes.

Ibrahim and Hazrat Hakam said regarding the sodomite: He will be given lashes less than the prescribed limit.

30230 - From (Sufyan) (1) from al-Shaybani from al-Hakam regarding the one who commits sodomy: he is beaten with less than the prescribed punishment.

٣٠٢٣١ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الاعلى عن سعيد عن قتادة عن عبيد الله ابن عبد الله بن معمر قال: عليه الرجم، (قتلة) (١) قوم لوط.

Hazrat Qatadah says that Hazrat Ubaidullah bin Abdullah bin Mu’ammar stated: The punishment of stoning will be obligatory for this, similar to the manner of killing the people of Lut.

٣٠٢٣٢ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الاعلى عن سعيد عن قتادة عن جابر ابن زيد قال: حرمة الدبر اعظم من حرمة كذا.
Hazrat Qatadah says that Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid stated: The prohibition of the anus is greater than the prohibition of such-and-such. Hazrat Qatadah said: We used to interpret this as deserving of stoning.

٣٠٢٣٤ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا محمد بن قيس عن ابي حصين ان عثمان اشرف على الناس يوم الدار فقال: اما علمتم انه لا يحل دم امرئ مسلم إلا باربعة: رجل عمل عمل قوم لوط (١).

Hazrat Abu Husain narrates that Hazrat Usman once looked out from his house and said: Do you know that the blood of a Muslim person is not lawful except in the case of four people: one who commits the act of the people of Lut.
