٣١٩٧٢ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن السدي عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس ﴿بحجارة من سجيل﴾ قال: هي بالفارسية: سنك وكل حجر (و) (١) طين (٢).

(١) سقط من: [ط].
(٢) حسن؛ السدي صدوق.
Hazrat Ikrimah states that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said regarding the verse { حِجَارَۃً مِنْ سِجِّیلٍ } about clay pebbles: In the Persian language, clay pebbles are called by this name.

٣١٩٧٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن إسرائيل (عن جابر) (١) عن ابن سابط ﴿ترميهم بحجارة من سجيل﴾ [الفيل: ٤]، قال: هي بالفارسية.

٣١٩٧٤ - حدثنا ابن نمير عن الاعمش عن مسلم عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس: ﴿يود احدهم لو يعمر الف سنة﴾ [البقرة: ٩٦]، قال: هو كقول الاعاجم، (زهه) (١) هزار سال، اي (عيش) (٢) الف سنة (٣).

(١) سقط من: [أ، ط، هـ].
(٢) في [أ، ب، جـ، ك]: (عش).
(٣) صحيح.
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said regarding the verse (Each one of them wishes that he could be granted a life of a thousand years): This is like the idiom of the non-Arabs. "Live a thousand years" means "May you live a thousand years."

٣١٩٧٥ - حدثنا معتمر بن سليمان عن جعفر عن القاسم عن ابي امامة قال: إن الملائكة الذين يحملون العرش يتكلمون بالفارسية الدرية (١).

(١) ضعيف جدًا، جعفر هو ابن الزبير متروك.
Hazrat Qasim narrates that Hazrat Abu Umamah said: Indeed, the angels who bear the Throne speak in the Persian language of the East.

٣١٩٧٦ - حدثنا جرير عن بيان عن الشعبي قال: كلام الناس يوم القيامة السريانية.
Hazrat Bayan states that Hazrat Sha'bi said: On the Day of Judgment, people's conversation will be in the Syriac language.
