٣٢٢٩٣ - حدثنا الفضل بن دكين عن شبل عن ابن ابي نجيح عن مجاهد قال: عرضت القرآن على ابن عباس ثلاث عرضات (١).

Hazrat Ibn Abi Najih states that Hazrat Mujahid said: I recited the Qur'an to Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) three times.

٣٢٢٩٤ - [حدثنا ابن نمير قال: حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق عن ابان بن صالح عن مجاهد قال: عرضت القرآن على ابن عباس من فاتحته إلى خاتمته ثلاث عرضات (اقفه) (١) عند كل آية] (٢) (٣).

(١) في [هـ]: (أفقه)، وفي [جـ]: (أوقفه).
(٢) سقط الخبر من: [أ، ح، ط، هـ].
(٣) حسن؛ صرح ابن إسحاق بالسماع عند الحاكم ٢/ ٣٠٧.
Hazrat Aban bin Salih narrates that Hazrat Mujahid said: I recited the entire Quran from beginning to end three times before Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them). I would pause at every verse while reciting.

٣٢٢٩٥ - حدثنا ابو معاوية عن الاعمش عن ابي ظبيان عن ابن عباس ان رسول الله ﷺ كان يعرض القرآن في كل رمضان مرة، (إلا العام) (١) الذي قبض فيه فإنه عرض عليه مرتين بحضرة عبد الله، فشهد ما نسخ منه وما بدل (٢).

(٢) صحيح، أخرجه أحمد (٣٤٢٢)، والبخاري في خلق أفعال العباد (٣٨٢)، والنسائي في الكبرى (٧٩٩٢)، وأبو يعلى (٢٥٦٢)، والطحاوي ١/ ٣٥٦، البزار (٢٦٨٣/ كشف)، والحاكم ٢/ ٣٣٠.
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to complete a recitation of the Holy Qur'an once every Ramadan, except for the year in which he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away. In that year, he (peace and blessings be upon him) completed the recitation twice in the presence of Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): thus, he knew which verse was abrogated and which verse was changed.

٣٢٢٩٦ - حدثنا يعلى بن عبيد عن محمد بن إسحاق عن الزهري عن عبيد الله ابن عبد الله عن ابن عباس قال: كان رسول الله ﷺ يعرض الكتاب في كل رمضان على جبريل فلما كان الشهر الذي هلك فيه عرضه عليه عرضتين (١).

(١) منقطع حكمًا؛ ابن إسحاق مدلس، وقد توبع ابن إسحاق، أخرجه أحمد (٢٥٤٢)، وابن سعد ٢/ ١٩٥، وعبد بن حميد (٦٤٧)، وأصله عند البخاري (١٩٠٢)، ومسلم (٢٣٠٨).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to review the Holy Qur'an with Hazrat Jibreel every Ramadan. So, in the month in which he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, he reviewed it twice.

٣٢٢٩٧ - حدثنا الفضل بن دكين قال: حدثنا موسى بن علي قال: سمعت ابي يقول: امسكت على فضالة بن عبيد القرآن حتى فرغ منه (١).

Hazrat Musa bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I heard my father saying: I stayed with Hazrat Fadala bin Ubaid to listen to his recitation of the Qur'an until he had completed it.

٣٢٢٩٨ - حدثنا حسين بن علي عن ابن عيينة عن ابن (جريج) (١) وعن ابن سيرين عن عبيدة قال: القراءة التي عرضت على النبي ﷺ في العام الذي قبض فيه هي القراءة التي (يقراها) (٢) الناس اليوم (٣) (٤).

(٢) في [ك]: (يقرأه).
(٣) في [أ، ط، هـ]: زيادة (فيه).
(٤) مرسل؛ عبيدة ليس صحابيًا.
Hazrat Ibn Sirin narrates that Hazrat Ubaidah said: The recitation which the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited in the year of his passing is the same recitation that people recite today.

٣٢٢٩٩ - حدثنا حسين بن علي عن زائدة عن هشام عن ابن سيرين قال: كان جبريل يعرض على النبي ﷺ القرآن في كل عام مرة في رمضان، فلما كان العام الذي قبض فيه عرضه عليه مرتين (١).

(١) مرسل، ابن سيرين تابعي.
Hazrat Hisham states that Hazrat Ibn Sirin said: Hazrat Jibreel used to review the Qur'an with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once every year in Ramadan. Then, in the year in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, he reviewed the Qur'an with him twice.

٣٢٣٠٠ - حدثنا ابن نمير قال: حدثنا زكريا بن ابي زائدة عن فراس عن الشعبي عن مسروق (عن عائشة) (١) (عن فاطمة) (٢) قالت: كان رسول الله ﷺ يعرض القرآن على جبريل في كل عام مرة فلما كان العام الذي قبض فيه عرضه عليه مرتين (٣).

(٢) سقط من: [أ، ح، ط، هـ].
(٣) صحيح؛ أخرجه البخاري (٣٦٢٤)، ومسلم (٢٤٥٠).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that Hazrat Fatima said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to review the Qur'an with Hazrat Jibreel once every year. But in the year in which he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, he reviewed it with him twice.
