في ابن الابن من قال: يرد على من تحته بحاله، وعلى من أسفل منه
Regarding the Grandson, and Those Who Say He Returns the Share Upwards According to Status and Downwards

٣٣٢٩٦ - حدثنا يحيى بن آدم عن مندل قال: ثنا الاعمش عن إبراهيم قال: في قول علي وزيد: ابن الابن يرد على من تحته ومن فوقه للذكر مثل حظ الانثيين (١)، وفي قول عبد الله: إذا استكمل الثلثين فليس لبنات الابن شيء (٢).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [أ]: زيادة (ما لم يزدن بنات الابن على السدس).
(٢) منقطع؛ إبراهيم لم يدركهم.
Ibrahim states that according to the opinion of Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him), the grandson returns (the inheritance) to those below him and those above him, on the principle that one male will be given a share equal to that of two females. And according to the opinion of Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), when two-thirds of the wealth is completed, nothing will be given to the granddaughters.
