٣٦٥٨٩ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون اخبرنا همام قال: دخل ابو داود الاعمى على قتادة، فلما خرج قالوا له: هذا يروي عن ثمانية عشر بدريا، (قال: هذا كان) (١) سائلا قبل الجارف لا يعرض لشيء (من هذا) (٢)، فوالله ما حدثنا (الحسن) (٣) وسعيد ابن المسيب عن بدري مشافهة إلا سعيد عن (سعد) (٤).

Hazrat Hammam narrates that Hazrat Abu Dawood, who was blind, went to Hazrat Qatadah. When he left from him, people said to Hazrat Qatadah: This person narrates from eighteen Badr companions (may Allah be pleased with them). Hazrat Qatadah said: He used to ask questions before the plague that caused destruction. He knows nothing about this. By Allah, Hasan and Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib did not narrate directly from any Badr companion, except for Hazrat Saeed who narrates from Hazrat Saad.

٣٦٥٩٠ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن عمرو بن مرة قال: قلت لابي عبيدة: اكان عبد الله مع النبي ﷺ ليلة الجن؟ قال: لا (١).

(١) منقطع؛ أبو عبيدة بن عبد اللَّه لم يدرك ذلك.
Hazrat Amr bin Murrah says that I asked Hazrat Abu Ubaidah: Was Hazrat Abdullah with the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) on the night of the jinn? He replied: No.

٣٦٥٩١ - حدثنا يعلى بن عبيد عن الاعمش عن إبراهيم قال: ذكر ذلك (١) ⦗١٣٢⦘ لعلقمة وقال: وددت ان (صاحبنا) (٢) كان (معه) (٣).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) أي: الخبر السابق.
(٢) في [أ، هـ]: (صحابيًا)، والمراد: (ابن مسعود).
(٣) في [ط، هـ]: (نعم).
Ibrahim narrates that when this was mentioned to Alqamah, he said: I think our companions were with the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم .

٣٦٥٩٢ - حدثنا حسين بن علي عن فضيل عن هشام قال: قلت: كم ادرك الحسن من اصحاب النبي ﷺ؟ قال: ثلاثين ومائة، قال: قلت: كم ادرك ابن سيرين؟ قال: ثلاثين.
It is narrated from Hazrat Fazl that he says: I asked, how many companions did Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) meet? He replied, one hundred and thirty companions. I asked, how many companions did Hazrat Ibn Sirin meet? He replied, thirty.

٣٦٥٩٣ - حدثنا ابو اسامة عن إسماعيل عن عامر قال: حدثني عبد الرحمن بن ابزى قال: صليت مع عمر على زينب، وكانت اول نساء النبي ﷺ ماتت بعد النبي ﷺ (١).

(١) صحيح.
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abzi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I offered the funeral prayer of Hazrat Zainab (may Allah be pleased with her) with Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). She was the first lady among the pure wives to pass away after the demise of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم .

٣٦٥٩٤ - حدثنا ابو اسامة عن هشام عن ابيه قال: توفيت خديجة قبل ان يخرج النبي ﷺ إلى المدينة بسنتين او قريبا من ذلك، ثم نكح عائشة وهي بنت ست سنين، (وبنى بها) (١) وهي بنت تسع (٢).

(٢) مرسل؛ عروة تابعي.
Hazrat Hisham narrates from his father that two years before the Hijrah to Madinah, Hazrat Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) passed away. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) married Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her); at that time she was six years old, and she went to live with him at the age of nine.

٣٦٥٩٥ - حدثنا يحيى بن آدم عن شريك قال: سمعت ابا إسحاق يقول: ولدت لسنتين من إمرة عثمان.
Hazrat Abu Ishaq says that I was born in the second year of Hazrat Usman's caliphate. Hazrat Shareek said: He was buried during the days of the Khawarij.

٣٦٥٩٧ - حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله الاسدي حدثنا (حبان) (١) عن مجالد عن الشعبي قال: كتب ابو موسى إلى عمر انه ياتينا كتب ما نعرف تاريخها فارخ، فاستشار اصحاب النبي ﷺ فقال بعضهم: ارخ لمبعث رسول الله ﷺ وقال ⦗١٣٣⦘ بعضهم: ارخ لموت رسول الله ﷺ، فقال عمر: (اؤرخ) (٢) لمهاجر رسول الله ﷺ، فإن مهاجر رسول الله ﷺ فرق بين الحق والباطل (فارخ) (٣).

(٢) في [هـ]: (أرخ).
(٣) ضعيف؛ لحال مجالد وحبان، والخبر أخرجه خليفة بن خياط في التاريخ (ص ٥١)، والقزويني في التدوين ٢/ ١٤٢.
It is narrated from Hazrat Sha’bi that Hazrat Abu Musa wrote to Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that letters from you reach us, but we do not know their date, so please fix a date for us. Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) consulted the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). Some Companions suggested that the date should be fixed from the Prophethood of the Messenger صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم , and some other Companions suggested that the date should be fixed from the passing of the Messenger صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم . Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I will fix the date from the Hijrah of the Messenger صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم , because the Hijrah of the Messenger صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم is what distinguished between truth and falsehood. Thus, he fixed the date from the Hijrah.
