٣٨٨١٧ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن (حميد) (١) بن عبد الرحمن وعن ⦗٢١٠⦘ محمد بن النعمان عن ابيه ان اباه نحله غلاما وانه اتى النبي ﷺ (ليشهده) (٢) فقال:"اكل ولدك (نحلته) (٣) مثل هذا؟" قال: لا، قال:"فاردده" (٤).

(٢) في [س]: (يشهده).
(٣) في [س]: (نحلت).
(٤) صحيح؛ أخرجه مسلم (١٦٢٣)، وأحمد (١٨٣٨٢)، وأصله عند البخاري (٢٦٥٠).
Hazrat Muhammad bin Nu’man narrates from his father that his father gave him a slave as a gift. And he presented himself before the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) so that he could make the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) a witness to this gift. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Have you given such a gift to each of your sons?”He replied:“No!”The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Then take this gift back.”

٣٨٨١٨ - حدثنا عباد عن حصين عن الشعبي قال: سمعت النعمان بن بشير يقول اعطاني ابي عطية فقالت امي عمرة بنت رواحة: لا ارضى حتى تشهد النبي ﷺ قال: فاتى النبي ﷺ فقال: إني اعطيت ابني من عمرة عطية، فامرتني ان اشهدك، قال:"اعطيت كل ولدك مثل هذا؟" قال: لا، قال:"فاتقوا الله واعدلوا بين اولادكم" (١).

(١) صحيح؛ أخرجه البخاري (٢٥٨٧)، ومسلم (١٦٢٣).
Hazrat Sha'bi says that I heard Nu'man bin Bashir say that my father gave me a gift, so my mother, Umrah bint Rawahah, said: I will not be pleased (with this) until you make the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) a witness to it. Hazrat Nu'man says that (my father) went to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I have given a gift to my son from Umrah, and she has asked me to make you a witness to it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Have you given such a gift to each of your sons? He said: No! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Fear Allah and be just among your children.

٣٨٨١٩ - حدثنا ابن مسهر عن ابي حيان عن الشعبي عن النعمان بن بشير عن النبي ﷺ انه قال:" (لا) (١) اشهد على (جور) (٢)" (٣).

(١) سقط من: [س].
(٢) في [جـ]: (جورة).
(٣) صحيح؛ أخرجه البخاري (٢٦٥٠)، ومسلم (١٦٢٣).
Hazrat Nu'man bin Bashir narrates this saying of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): I do not bear witness to injustice. And (Imam) Abu Hanifa's opinion has been mentioned that: There is no harm in it.
