Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a dog puts its mouth into the vessel of any person, he should wash it seven times." This narration is "Sahih" (authentic).

The chain of this narration is authentic and good, and all its narrators are reliable.

This narration is reported from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding the dog: When a dog puts its mouth into a vessel, he says: "The contents inside it should be poured out, and the vessel should be washed seven times." This narration is authentic and "Mawquf."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a dog licks a vessel, the way to purify it is to wash it seven times, the first of which should be with earth."

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The way to purify a vessel when a dog has licked it is to wash it seven times, and to clean it with earth the first time." Imam Awza'i visited Ibn Sirin when he was ill. Imam Awza'i did not hear hadith from Ibn Sirin.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“The way to purify a vessel when a dog has licked it is to wash that vessel seven times, the first of which should be with earth. If a cat has licked it, then it should be washed once or twice.”This doubt is from the narrator named Qarah, and this narration is authentic.

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a dog licks a vessel, wash it seven times and clean it with earth on the seventh time."

This narration is also transmitted with another chain of transmission.

The same narration is also transmitted with another chain, however, in it the words are: "The first time, it should be cleaned with soil." This narration is authentic.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a dog puts its mouth into a vessel, wash it seven times and the first time with earth (soil)." This hadith is "Sahih" (authentic).
