Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) searched for water for ablution but did not find any. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked:“Is there even a little water anywhere?”(It was present), and it was brought to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The narrator states: I saw that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his blessed hand on the vessel in which there was water, then he said:“Begin ablution in the name of Allah.”The narrator states: I saw that springs of water began to flow from between his fingers and the people began to perform ablution, until all the people had performed ablution. The narrator named Thabit states: I asked Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him):“How many were you at that time?”Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) replied:“(We) were about seventy people.”
