Discussion on Purification
بَابٌ فِي الْوُضُوءِ مِنَ الْخَارِجِ مِنَ الْبَدَنِ كَالرُّعَافِ وَالْقَيْءِ وَالْحِجَامَةِ وَنَحْوِهِ
Chapter on ablution due to things exiting the body like nosebleed, vomiting, cupping, etc.

حدثنا ابو محمد بن صاعد ، نا إبراهيم بن منقد الخولاني ، بمصر، نا إدريس بن يحيى الخولاني ابو عمرو المصري ، نا الفضل بن المختار ، نا ابن ابي ذئب ، عن شعبة مولى ابن عباس، عن ابن عباس ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:" الوضوء مما يخرج وليس مما يدخل" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whatever comes out requires ablution (wudu), and whatever enters does not require ablution."

حدثنا ابو سهل بن زياد ، نا صالح بن مقاتل ، ثنا ابي ، ثنا سليمان بن داود ابو ايوب ، عن حميد ، عن انس ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم" احتجم فصلى ولم يتوضا ولم يزد عن غسل محاجمه" . حديث رفعه ابن ابي العشرين، ووقفه ابو المغيرة، عن الاوزاعي، وهو الصواب.
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done and then performed prayer without renewing his ablution; he only washed the area where the cupping was done. Ibn Abu ‘Ashreen has transmitted this narration as a marfu‘ (attributed to the Prophet) hadith, while Abu Mughira has transmitted it as mawquf (attributed to a Companion) from al-Awza‘i, and this is correct.
