بَابُ لُزُومِ إِقَامَةِ الصُّلْبِ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ
Chapter on the necessity of straightening the back in bowing and prostration

حدثنا ابو حامد محمد بن هارون ، إملاء، حدثنا عمرو بن علي ، ثنا عبد الله بن إدريس ، ووكيع بن الجراح ، وابو معاوية ، وحماد بن سعيد المازني ، قالوا: حدثنا الاعمش ، عن عمارة ، عن ابي معمر ، عن ابي مسعود ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" لا صلاة لرجل لا يقيم صلبه في الركوع والسجود" . هذا إسناد ثابت صحيح.
Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prayer of that person is not valid who does not keep his back straight in bowing (ruku') and prostration (sujud)." The chain of this hadith is established and authentic.

حدثنا حدثنا بدر بن الهيثم ، ثنا محمد بن إسماعيل الاحمسي ، ثنا وكيع ، وعبيد الله ، وابو اسامة ، والمحاربي ، ويعلى ، عن الاعمش ، بإسناده عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" لا تجزيء صلاة لا يقيم الرجل صلبه" ، مثله.
The same narration is also transmitted with another chain, however, in it are these words: "The prayer of that person is not valid who does not keep his back straight in prayer."
