بَابُ صَلَاةِ الْمَرِيضِ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الْقِيَامَ وَالْفَرِيضَةُ عَلَى الرَّاحِلَةِ
Chapter on the prayer of the sick person who cannot stand and the obligatory prayer on a mount

حدثنا إسماعيل بن محمد الصفار ، ثنا عباس بن محمد ، ثنا ابو إسحاق الطالقاني ، ثنا ابن المبارك ، عن إبراهيم بن طهمان ، قال ابو إسحاق وسمعت ابن المبارك، يقول: كان إبراهيم بن طهمان ثبتا في الحديث، عن حسين المكتب ، عن عبد الله بن بريدة ، عن عمران بن حصين ، قال: كانت لي بواسير، فسالت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال:" صل قائما، فإن لم تستطع فقاعدا، فإن لم تستطع فعلى جنبك" .
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was suffering from hemorrhoids, so I asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about it. He said: "Perform the prayer standing; if you cannot do so, then sitting; and if you cannot do that, then lying on your side."

حدثنا إسماعيل بن محمد الصفار ، ثنا عباس بن محمد ، ثنا علي بن الحسن بن شقيق ، ثنا إبراهيم بن طهمان ، عن حسين المعلم ، عن ابن بريدة، عن عمران بن حصين ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، نحوه. قال ابو الحسن: اخرجه البخاري، عن عبدان، عن ابن المبارك، عن إبراهيم بن طهمان.
This same narration is also reported from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) through some other chains of transmission.

حدثنا ابو بكر احمد بن نصر بن سندويه البندار ، ثنا يوسف بن موسى ، نا وكيع ، ثنا إبراهيم بن طهمان ، عن حسين المعلم ، عن عبد الله بن بريدة ، عن عمران بن حصين ، قال: كان لي الناصور، فسالت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الصلاة، فقال:" صل قائما، فإن لم تستطع فقاعدا، فإن لم تستطع فعلى جنب" .
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was suffering from fistula, so I asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the prayer. He (peace be upon him) said: "Perform the prayer standing; if you are unable to do so, then perform it sitting; if you are unable to do even that, then perform it lying on your side."

حدثنا إبراهيم بن حماد ، ثنا عباس بن يزيد ، ثنا ابو عامر ، ثنا إبراهيم بن طهمان ، عن حسين المعلم ، بهذا، او قال: الباسور.
The same narration is transmitted with another chain, however, in it the name of the illness is mentioned as 'Basur'.
