كِتَابُ الْوِتْرِ
Discussion on Witr Prayer
مَنْ نَامَ عَنْ وِتْرِهِ أَوْ نَسِيَهُ
One who sleeps through his Witr or forgets it

حدثنا يحيى بن صاعد ، ثنا محمد بن عوف بن سفيان الطائي ، ثنا عثمان بن سعيد بن كثير بن دينار ، نا ابو غسان محمد بن مطرف ، عن زيد بن اسلم ، عن عطاء بن يسار ، عن ابي سعيد ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" من نام عن وتره او نسيه فليصله إذا اصبح او ذكره" .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever sleeps without having performed Witr, or forgets to perform Witr, then he should perform it in the morning or whenever he remembers."

حدثنا عثمان بن جعفر بن محمد ، ثنا محمد بن إبراهيم السمرقندي نبيرة ، حدثنا ابن إسماعيل الجعفري ، حدثنا عبد الله بن سلمة، عن زيد بن اسلم ، عن عطاء بن يسار ، عن ابي سعيد ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قيل له: إن احدنا يصبح ولم يوتر، قال:" فليوتر إذا اصبح" .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: It was asked to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "If one of us reaches the morning and has not yet performed Witr," so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "He should perform Witr in the morning."

حدثنا الحسين بن إسماعيل ، ثنا الفضل بن يعقوب ، ثنا ابو عصام رواد ، حدثنا نهشل ، عن الضحاك ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" من فاته الوتر من الليل فليقضه من الغد" .
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is unable to perform Witr at night should make up for it the next day."
