Discussion on the Two Eids
بَابُ صَلَاةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ وَاخْتِلَافِ الرِّوَايَاتِ فِيهِ
Chapter on the Prophet (peace be upon him) praying inside the Ka'bah and differences in narrations about it

حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد بن عبد العزيز ، ثنا وهب بن بقية ، ثنا خالد ، عن ابن ابي ليلى ، عن عكرمة بن خالد ، عن يحيى بن جعدة، عن عبد الله بن عمر ، قال:" دخل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم البيت، ثم خرج وبلال خلفه، فقلت لبلال: هل صلى؟ قال: لا، قال: فلما كان الغد دخل فسالت بلالا: هل صلى؟ قال: نعم، صلى ركعتين، استقبل الجزعة وجعل السارية الثانية عن يمينه" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the Ka'bah, then he came out, and Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) was behind him. I asked Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him): Did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform prayer (inside the Ka'bah)? He replied: No! The narrator states: The next day, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again entered the Ka'bah. I again asked Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him): Did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform prayer inside the Ka'bah? He replied: Yes! The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed two rak'ahs, he faced the trunk of the tree and kept the other pillar to his right side.

حدثنا احمد بن محمد بن إسماعيل الآدمي ، نا ابو يوسف القلوسي ، نا الحسن بن بشر البجلي ، ثنا زهير ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن عبد الله بن ابي مليكة ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: دخل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الكعبة ومعه بلال ، قال: فسالنا بلالا، فاخبرنا" ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى ركعتين بين الاسطوانتين" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the Ka'bah, and Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) was with him. The narrator states: We asked Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) about this, so he informed us: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed prayer between two pillars.

حدثنا الحسين بن إسماعيل ، ثنا عيسى بن ابي حرب الصفار ، ثنا يحيى بن ابي بكير ، عن عبد الغفار بن القاسم ، حدثني حبيب بن ابي ثابت ، حدثني سعيد بن جبير ، عن ابن عباس ، قال: دخل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم البيت فصلى بين الساريتين ركعتين، ثم خرج فصلى بين الباب والحجر ركعتين، ثم قال:" هذه القبلة"، ثم دخل مرة اخرى فقام فيه يدعو، ثم خرج ولم يصل .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the Ka'bah, and he (peace be upon him) performed two rak'ahs between two pillars. Then he came out and performed two rak'ahs between the door of the Ka'bah and the Black Stone. Then he said: "This is the Qiblah." After that, he entered the Ka'bah a second time, and he (peace be upon him) stood inside it and made supplication, then came out (this time, he did not perform prayer inside the Ka'bah).
