بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ
Chapter on What Has Been Narrated Regarding Abu al-Tufayl, may Allah be pleased with him
Hadith Number: 11934
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون انبانا الجريري قال كنت اطوف مع ابي الطفيل رضي الله عنه فقال ما بقي احد راى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم غيري قال قلت ورايته قال نعم قال قلت كيف كان صفته قال كان ابيض مليحا مقصدا
It is narrated from Jariri, he says: I was performing Tawaf with Sayyiduna Abu Tufail (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: There is no one left except me who has seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). I asked him: Did you see the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? He said: Yes. I asked: What was the appearance of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) like? He said: He was fair, handsome, and of medium height.

وعن ابي الطفيل رضي الله عنه قال ادركت ثمان سنين من حياة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم وولدت عام احد
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Tufail (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I was born in the year of Uhud and I witnessed eight years of the life of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
