الْفَضْلُ الرَّابِعُ فِي إِمَارَةِ النِّسَاءِ
The Fourth Virtue Regarding the Rule of Women
Hadith Number: 12097
عن ابي بكرة رضي الله عنه انه شهد النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم اتاه بشير يبشره بظفر جند له على عدوهم وراسه في حجر عائشة رضي الله عنها فقام فخر ساجدا ثم انشا يسائل البشير فاخبره فيما اخبره انه ولي امرهم امراة فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”الآن هلكت الرجال إذا اطاعت النساء هلكت الرجال إذا اطاعت النساء“ ثلاثا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was present with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when a messenger bearing glad tidings came and gave the Muslims the news of victory over the enemy. At that time, the blessed head of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the lap of Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) got up and prostrated in gratitude. After that, he began to inquire about the situation from the messenger. Among the news that the messenger gave was that a woman had become ruler over the enemies. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When men begin to obey women, they will be destroyed. When men begin to obey women, they will be destroyed." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said this three times.

Hadith Number: 12098
وعنه ايضا رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”من يلي امر فارس“ قالوا امراة قال ”ما افلح قوم يلي امرهم امراة“
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Who is the ruler of Iran? The Companions replied that it is a woman. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That nation will never prosper which is ruled by a woman.

Hadith Number: 12099
وعنه من طريق آخر رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم بلفظ ”لن يفلح قوم تملكهم امراة“
(Second chain) The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: A nation that has a woman as its ruler will never succeed.

Hadith Number: 12100
وعن ابي بكرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال ”لن يفلح قوم اسندوا امرهم إلى امراة“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That nation will never prosper which entrusts its affairs to women.

Hadith Number: 12101
وفي رواية عن ابي بكرة ان رجلا من اهل فارس اتى النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم فقال ”إن ربي تبارك وتعالى قد قتل ربك“ (يعني كسرى) قال وقيل له (يعني للنبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) إنه قد استخلف ابنته قال فقال ”لا يفلح قوم تملكهم امراة“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from among the Persians came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My Lord, Blessed and Exalted, has killed your lord, that is, Kisra. Then it was informed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (Kisra) had appointed his daughter as his successor. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That nation will never prosper which makes a woman its ruler.
