كِتَابُ التَّفْسِيرِ
Book of Tafsir (Quranic Exegesis)
[قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ بِالبَاطِلِ وَتُدْلُوا بِهَا إِلَى الحُكَّامِ لِتَأْكُلُوا فَرِيقًا مِنْ أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ بِالإِثْمِ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ}]
His saying, Exalted is He: {And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful].}
Hadith Number: 282
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا سفيان ، عن ابن ابي نجيح ، عن مجاهد ، في قوله عز وجل: " ولا تاكلوا اموالكم بينكم بالباطل وتدلوا بها إلى الحكام سورة البقرة آية 188، قال:" لا تخاصم، وانت تعلم انك ظالم" .
Ibn Abi Najih (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated from Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) regarding the statement of Allah, the Exalted: «وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتُدْلُوا بِهَا إِلَى الْحُكَّامِ» , that Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Do not fight at a time when you know that you are the wrongdoers.
