كِتَابُ التَّفْسِيرِ
Book of Tafsir (Quranic Exegesis)
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُوا سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ سَمَّاعُونَ لِقَوْمٍ آخَرِينَ لَمْ يَأْتُوكَ يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَوَاضِعِهِ} .
His (Allah's) saying: {And among the Jews are those who listen to lies for the sake of others who have not come to you. They distort words beyond their [proper] places}
Hadith Number: 738
نا هشيم، عن مغيرة، عن إبراهيم، انه كان يقرا:" يحرفون الكلام عن مواضعه" قال: " كان ينزل عليهم: يا بني احباري، يا بني رسلي، فيقولون: يا بني ابكاري" .
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him), in the explanation of this verse ﴿يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلَامَ عَنْ مَوَاضِعِهِ﴾, used to say: It would be revealed to them «يَا بَنِي أَحْبَارِي، يَا بَنِي رُسُلِي» , then they would alter it and recite «يَا بَنِي أَبْكَارِي» .
