بَابُ الْوَلِيمَةِ وَمَا جَاءَ فِيهَا
Chapter: The wedding feast (walima) and what is reported about it
Hadith Number: 524
نا نا سفيان، نا الزهري، عن الاعرج، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: " شر الطعام طعام الوليمة , يدعى إليها الاغنياء، ويترك المساكين، ومن لم يات الدعوة فقد عصى الله ورسوله" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that: "The worst food of a wedding feast is that to which only the rich are invited and the poor are left out."

Hadith Number: 525
نا فرج بن فضالة ، عن محمد بن الوليد الزبيدي ، عن الزهري قال: قال يعني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من دعي إلى الوليمة فلم يجب، فقد عصى الله ورسوله" .
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "Whoever does not accept the invitation to a wedding feast has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger."

نا هشيم ، عن يعلى بن عطاء ، عن بشر بن عاصم ، قال: قال ابو هريرة : " شر الطعام طعام الوليمة , يدعى إليها من ياباها، ويمنع من ارادها، يدعى إليها الاغنياء، ويمنع منها الفقراء" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The worst food of a wedding feast is that in which the rich are invited and the needy are left out."
