It is narrated from Hazrat Bakr bin Abdullah Al-Muzani (may Allah have mercy on him): A woman was brought to Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) who had married her slave. He was strict with her and wrote to the cities that a woman should not marry her slave or marry without a guardian, otherwise she should be punished.

It is narrated from Hazrat Bakr bin Abdullah Al-Muzani (may Allah have mercy on him): Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) punished a woman who married her slave and said: «أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ» misunderstood [النساء: 3] , and wrote to all the cities that the hadd punishment should be carried out on such women.

It is narrated from Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) punished a woman for marrying a slave, and as a punishment, he also forbade her from marrying in the future.
