Book of Marriage
بَابُ التَّزْوِيجِ بِالْعَاجِلِ وَالْآجِلِ
Chapter: Marriage with immediate and deferred dowry
Hadith Number: 834
نا هشيم، قال: انا يونس، عن الحسن، في رجل تزوج على عاجل وآجل: هو حال كله، إلا ان يكون له مدة معلومة" .
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If a man has stipulated both prompt and deferred dowry in marriage, then the entire dowry becomes immediately due, unless a specific term has been set."

Hadith Number: 835
نا هشيم، انا اشعث، عن الشعبي، انه كان يقول في الآجل من المهر:" إلى ان يكون طلاق او موت" .
Hazrat Aamir Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "A deferred dowry is postponed until divorce or death."
