بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي ابْنَةِ الْأَخِ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ
Chapter: What is reported regarding the daughter of a brother through breastfeeding
Hadith Number: 974
نا نا هشيم، انا مغيرة، عن إبراهيم، عن عبد الله ، قال: " لا رضاع إلا ما كان في الحولين، ما انشز العظم وانبت اللحم" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Suckling is only that which is within two years, which strengthens the bones and produces flesh."

Hadith Number: 975
نا نا سفيان، عن إسماعيل بن ابي خالد، عن ابي عمر الشيباني، ان رجلا حصر اللبن في ثدي امراته، فجعل يمصه ثم يمجه، فدخل في حلقه، فاتى الاشعري، فقال الاشعري:" لا تقرب امراتك" , فقيل: إيت ابن مسعود. فاتى عبد الله، فاخبره بما قال الاشعري , قال:" ها إنما هذا طيب ليس بحرام" .
A man sucked his wife's milk and spat it out, but some of it went down his throat. Al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Do not go near your wife," but Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "This is only a pure thing, not forbidden."

Hadith Number: 976
نا نا هشيم، انا يحيى بن سعيد، عن عمرة، عن عائشة , قالت: " نزل القرآن بعشر رضعات معلومات، ثم كن خمسا" .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "In the Qur'an, first ten well-known breastfeedings were revealed, then these were reduced to five."

Hadith Number: 977
نا سفيان، عن سعيد بن المسيب، قال: " لا رضاع إلا ما كان في المهد" .
Hazrat Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Suckling is only considered valid when the child is in the cradle."

Hadith Number: 978
نا نا سفيان، عن هشام، عن ابيه، عن الحجاج بن الحجاج، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: " لا رضاع إلا ما فتق الامعاء" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The only suckling that is considered is that which splits the intestines (i.e., has an effect like food)."

Hadith Number: 979
نا نا سفيان، عن إسماعيل بن ابي خالد، عن قيس بن ابي حازم، قال: سمعت المغيرة بن شعبة ، يقول: " لا تحرم العيفة. قيل: وما العيفة؟ قال: المراة يحصر في ثديها اللبن، فترضع ولد جار لها" .
Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Temporary breastfeeding does not create prohibition (of marriage)."

Hadith Number: 980
نا نا سفيان، عن عمرو بن دينار، عن ابن عباس ، قال: " لا رضاع إلا ما كان في الحولين" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Suckling is only considered valid within two years."

Hadith Number: 981
نا عتاب بن بشير، انا خصيف، عن طاوس، قال: " يحرم من الرضاع المصة والمصتان" .
Hazrat Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Drinking milk once or twice also establishes prohibition (of marriage)."

Hadith Number: 982
نا سفيان، عن ابي امية، عن طاوس، قال: " كان الذي قالوا ثم: المزة الواحدة تحرم" .
Hazrat Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Drinking milk once also becomes a cause of prohibition (of marriage)."

Hadith Number: 983
نا سفيان، عن ابن طاوس، عن ابيه، قال: " المزة الواحدة من الرضاع تحرم" .
It is narrated from Ibn Tawus that his father used to say: "Drinking milk once also establishes prohibition (of marriage)."
