بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي خَيْرِ الْجُيُوشِ، وَخَيْرِ السَّرَايَا، وَخَيْرِ الصَّحَابَةِ
Chapter on what is reported regarding the best armies, best detachments, and best companions
Hadith Number: 2387
نا عبد الله بن المبارك ، عن حيوة ، عن عقيل ، عن الزهري ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " خير الصحابة اربعة، وخير السرايا اربع مائة، وخير الجيوش اربعة آلاف" .
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best companions are four, the best detachment consists of four hundred individuals, and the best army is of four thousand."

نا عبد الله بن المبارك ، عن حيوة ، عن شرحبيل بن شريك ، عن ابي عبد الرحمن الحبلي ، عن عبد الله يعني ابن عمرو ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " خير الاصحاب عند الله خيرهم لصاحبه، وخير الجيران خيرهم لجاره" .
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best friend in the sight of Allah is the one who is best to his friend, and the best neighbor is the one who is best to his neighbor."
