Book of Jihad
بَابُ سَهْمِ الْعَبْدِ إِذَا قَاتَلَ
Chapter on the share of a slave if he fights
Hadith Number: 2779
نا نا ابن عياش، عن عبد الرحمن بن زياد بن انعم، قال: كتب إلينا عمر :" ان كل عبد قاتل ليس معه مولاه فاضرب له سهمه سهم الحر، فضرب لغلام لنا كما ضرب للحر" .
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote to us: "Any slave who fights without his master, assign him a share equal to that of a free man, thus a share equal to a free man was assigned even for one of our slaves."

Hadith Number: 2780
نا نا سفيان، عن عمرو بن دينار، سمع الحسن يحدث، عن مخلد الغفاري، ان مملوكين ثلاثة لبني غفار شهدوا بدرا،" فكان عمر يعطي كل رجل منهم في كل سنة ثلاثة آلاف" .
It is narrated from Mukhlid Ghafari (may Allah be pleased with him): Three slaves from Banu Ghifar participated in Badr, so Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to give each of them three thousand dirhams every year.

Hadith Number: 2781
نا هشيم، قال: انا مغيرة، عن إبراهيم، في العبد، والاجير، والتاجر يشهدون المغنم، فقال:" يسهم، وسهم العبد لمولاه".
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "When a slave, a laborer, and a trader participate in the spoils of war, their share will be fixed, and the share of the slave will belong to his master."
