بَابُ الْأَسِيرِ يَكُونُ فِي أَيْدِي الْعَدُوِّ فَيَتَنَصَّرُ
Chapter on the captive in the hands of the enemy who becomes Christian
Hadith Number: 2832
نا عبد الله بن المبارك، عن معمر، عن رجل من اهل الجزيرة، ان عمر بن عبد العزيز كتب إليه في اسير تنصر بارض الروم، فكتب:" إن جاءك بذلك الثبت فاقسم ماله بين ورثته" .
Saidna Umar bin Abdul Aziz, may Allah have mercy on him, said: If a prisoner goes to the Romans and becomes a Christian, then if this is proven, distribute his wealth among his heirs.

Hadith Number: 2833
نا ابن المبارك، عن معمر، عن إسحاق بن راشد، عن عمر بن عبد العزيز في رجل يؤسر فيتنصر، قال:" إذا علم ذلك برئت منه امراته وتعتد ثلاثة قروء" .
Saiduna Umar bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him) said: If a captive becomes a Christian, then his wife should be separated from him, and she should observe the waiting period of three menstrual cycles.

Hadith Number: 2834
نا ابن المبارك، قال: انا جويبر، عن الضحاك بن مزاحم، قال: " إذا ارتد الرجل بانت منه امراته، فإن اسلم فهو خاطب" .
Hazrat Dhahhak bin Muzahim, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Whoever becomes an apostate, his wife is separated from him. And if he returns to Islam, the marriage will have to be contracted again.
