Chapter: Qualities of the Believers – The Prophet’s comparison of believers to a building supporting each other
Hadith Number: 232
اخبرنا بكر بن محمد بن عبد الوهاب القزاز ، حدثنا احمد بن عبدة ، حدثنا عمر بن علي بن مقدم ، حدثنا سفيان الثوري ، عن ابن ابي بردة ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي موسى ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " مثل المؤمنين فيما بينهم كمثل البنيان، قال: وادخل اصابع يده في الارض وقال: يمسك بعضها بعضا" .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The example of the believers in their mutual love is like a building." The narrator says, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) interlaced his fingers and said: "One part of it supports the other."
