باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر البيان بأن محبة من وصفنا قبل للمرء على الطاعات إنما هو تعجيل بشراه في الدنيا
Chapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – The love of people for one who is obedient is a sign of glad tidings in this world.
Hadith Number: 366
اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، قال: حدثنا مسدد ، عن يحيى القطان ، عن شعبة ، عن ابي عمران الجوني ، عن عبد الله بن الصامت ، قال: قال ابو ذر : يا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: إن الرجل يعمل لنفسه، ويحبه الناس؟ قال:" تلك عاجل بشرى المؤمن" .
Abdullah bin Samit narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted: O Messenger of Allah! A person performs deeds for himself, but people love him for it. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This is the glad tidings that a believer receives quickly.
