باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر البيان بأن الله جل وعلا قد يكتب للمرء بالحسنة الواحدة أكثر من عشرة أمثالها إذا شاء ذلك
Chapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – Allah may multiply a single good deed more than tenfold if He wills.
Hadith Number: 384
اخبرنا اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد الازدي ، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، قال: حدثنا النضر بن شميل ، قال: حدثنا هشام ، عن محمد ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، عن الله جل وعلا، قال: " من هم بحسنة فلم يعملها، كتبت له حسنة، فإن عملها، كتبتها بعشر امثالها إلى سبع مائة وإن هم بسيئة فلم يعملها، لم اكتب عليه، فإن عملها، كتبتها عليه سيئة واحدة" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) that Allah Almighty says: "Whoever intends to do a good deed, and does not do it, I record one good deed for him. If he acts upon it, I record for him from ten to seven hundred times as much. If he intends to do an evil deed and does not act upon it, I do not record anything against him. If he acts upon it, I record one evil deed against him."
