باب الإخلاص وأعمال السر - ذكر الزجر عن ارتكاب المرء ما يكره الله عز وجل وعلا منه في الخلاء كما قد لا يرتكب مثله في الملاء
Chapter on Sincerity and Secret Deeds – Warning against committing what Allah dislikes in private, as one would not do so in public.
Hadith Number: 403
اخبرنا احمد بن يحيى بن زهير بتستر، من كتابه، قال: حدثنا عمر بن شبة ، قال: حدثنا مؤمل بن إسماعيل ، قال: حدثنا شعبة، عن زياد بن علاقة ، عن اسامة بن شريك ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ما كره الله منك شيئا، فلا تفعله إذا خلوت" .
Sayyiduna Usamah bin Sharik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That which Allah Almighty does not like from you, do not do it even in seclusion."
