Hadith Number: 407
اخبرنا محمد بن عبد الرحمن الدغولي ، حدثنا مسلم بن الحجاج ابو الحسين ، حدثنا عمر بن حفص بن غياث ، حدثنا ابي ، عن إسماعيل بن سميع ، عن مسلم البطين ، عن سعيد بن جبير ، عن ابن عباس ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من سمع يسمع الله به، ومن راءى يرائي الله به" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever acts for fame, Allah will make his fame known, and whoever acts for show, Allah will make his show apparent."
