باب حق الوالدين - ذكر البيان بأن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أمر ابن عمر بطلاقها طاعة لأبيه
Chapter on Parents’ Rights – The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered Ibn Umar to divorce his wife in obedience to his father.
Hadith Number: 427
اخبرنا الصوفي ، حدثنا علي بن الجعد ، انبانا ابن ابي ذئب ، عن الحارث بن عبد الرحمن ، عن حمزة بن عبد الله بن عمر ، عن ابيه ، قال: كانت تحتي امراة وكنت احبها، وكان ابي يكرهها، فامرني بطلاقها، فابيت، فذكر ذلك عمر للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" يا عبد الله طلقها" .
Hamzah bin Abdullah narrates from his father: I had a wife whom I loved very much, but my father did not like her. He instructed me to divorce her. I did not comply with his request. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned this to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Abdullah! Divorce that woman.
