باب حق الوالدين - ذكر رجاء تمكن المرء من رضاء الله جل وعلا برضاء والده عنه
Chapter on Parents’ Rights – Hoping to attain Allah’s pleasure by pleasing one’s father.
Hadith Number: 429
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا يحيى بن حبيب بن عربي ، قال: حدثنا خالد بن الحارث ، عن شعبة ، عن يعلى بن عطاء ، عن ابيه ، عن عبد الله بن عمرو ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " رضاء الله في رضاء الوالد، وسخط الله في سخط الوالد" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“The pleasure of Allah is in the pleasure of the father, and the displeasure of Allah is in the displeasure of the father.”
