باب حق الوالدين - ذكر البيان بأن بر المرء بإخوان أبيه وصلته إياهم بعد موته من وصله رحمه في قبره
Chapter on Parents’ Rights – Honoring the father’s friends after his death is like maintaining ties with him in his grave.
Hadith Number: 432
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا هدبة بن خالد ، قال: حدثنا حزم بن ابي حزم ، عن ثابت البناني ، عن ابي بردة ، قال: قدمت المدينة، فاتاني عبد الله بن عمر ، فقال: اتدري لم اتيتك؟ قال: قلت لا، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: " من احب ان يصل اباه في قبره، فليصل إخوان ابيه بعده" وإنه كان بين ابي عمر وبين ابيك إخاء وود، فاحببت ان اصل ذاك .
Abu Burdah narrates: I came to Madinah Munawwarah. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) came to me. He asked: Do you know why I have come to you? I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever wishes to treat his father well in his grave, he should treat his father's brothers well after his father." (Ibn Umar said) There was brotherhood and friendship between my father, Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and your father, so I wish to treat you well in this regard.
